Not sure what to say?

One tough lady and heard a great teacher for all those who had her. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her in GRHS!!

She was such an amazing teacher for her time (and for Glen Ridge). Most of us had little experience with such a dynamic, forceful woman. LOVED her Law class!

I had Ms. McEntee as a teacher for only a few weeks at GRHS, in 1967. (I needed science credits for grad. requirements) and therefore had to transfer out of her Statistics class. I liked both Ms. McEntee and Statistics, and even though I had her class for only a few weeks, gained lasting insights and knowledge that have stayed with me even until this day. Her manner was friendly and professional. One special talent that I recall is her ability to treat high schoolers as adults, to teach on...

2010 Secular Discacled Carmelite Retreat

Dear Catherine, I am happy for you but do I miss our conversation! I will never forget your serene smile after receiving Holy Communion. You taught me the Anima Christi Prayer which you prayed after receiving Jesus. Your Carmelite Sisters will continue to pray for you.

Bless you, Miss McEntee! I was in your history class many years ago in Glen Ridge. It was the first class I took that used mostly primary sources. We re-enacted the Constitutional Convention. You touched my life and are one of the reasons I became a teacher. My sympathy to the family.

She had exceptional intelligence and I enjoyed being a student her class.

Ms. McEntee was one of my favorite teachers at GRHS. I had her as a teacher in 72-73. She gave me a real appreciation for the law and sociology. She made me realize that women could do important things. I am grateful that she shared her knowledge and wisdom with us.

Thank you, Catherine, for your tireless efforts on behalf of life, especially for your 25 years of service as the national March for Life Treasurer. Your room in heaven is surely beautiful! May you rest in peace!

Thank you Catherine for always being there for the Gordon Girls. I was very lucky to have you as my Godmother. I love you and will miss you.
