MILLER, Catherine ?Isabel? ? Of Flushing, age 91, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Hyde Park Memory Care.



Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2015

at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley Street, Flint,

Father Thomas Firestone officiating.



Burial in Old Calvary Catholic Cemetery.



In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer?s Association.



Visitation 5-8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.



A Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.



Catherine will be at the church 9 a.m. Monday until the time of the Mass.



Catherine was born in Saginaw, Michigan on November 27, 1923, the daughter of the late Hubert and Viola (Hardy) Rombach and was a resident of the Flint area.



She graduated from St. Michael Catholic School in 1941.



She married the love of her life, Harry J. Miller, on September 24, 1949 and they were married for 60 years.



She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church.



She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.



Surviving are sons, Joseph and wife Myriam Edwards-Miller, Hugh and wife Connie Miller;



daughters, Monica and husband Tres Kline, Mary and husband David Maeder, Pauline and husband Tom Tippett;



12 grandchildren;

7 great-grandchild;



brother-in-law, Fred Wenzel.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; sisters, Ione (Orville) Hawley, Marcella (Eugene) Henige, Doris Wenzel and grandson, Thomas E. Miller.

The Lord has taken Isabel into heaven to be a special angel. She truly fulfilled her roles of mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and mother-in-law. Thank you for being the best mother-in-law I could ever ask for.
