Catherine P. Powers

I worked with Catherine a couple times in therapy at Heartland and she touched my heart. I lost my mother in August after a 2 year battle with cancer also. Catherine had the same cancer as my mom and they both went through similar surgeries due to the metastatic cancer. But what I noticed was that Catherine, like my mom, was always smiling and as sweet as could be. I could tell she had Jesus in her heart and she knew she was safe with him, whatever the outcome. Catherine was a beautiful person, inside and out. Always smiling through everything. She's truly an inspiration. I'm truly blessed to have met her & her wonderful family. I pray for peace and healing for you all. I know she is with the Lord, singing praise, pain free and joyous. Thank you all for allowing me to share in your lives at such a tough time. Your family is so beautiful!!

So sorry that i cant be there .Cathy was what a true friend was all about.Always had a smile on her face,Talked to every one,I know shes in a better place no more suffering,she will be a beautiful voice singing with the Angels Love to the family.
