Not sure what to say?

Our sympathies go out to the Ramsden family. May God give you comfort and peace in this time of mourning. I was Cathi's principal at Ernest Manning and greatly appreciated her enthusiasm and ready smile. Sorry we had to miss her time of remembrance on the 5th. Jim and Sharon Stevenson

My sincere condolences to Cathi's family. I knew Cathi as my Junior and Senior school English teacher. Cathi is one of only a handful of teachers who had a lasting impression on me (in my old age). Fundamentally - she made learning fun and seemed to stimulate everyone to achieve their best. An amazing educator and human.

I first met Cathi at the Baptist Leadership Training School in Calgary in 1968. She was so much fun and showed incredible leadership skills! My prayers are with Cathi's family at this time of deep loss.

I have known Cathi for just one year - as she joined our ladies hiking group. In that short time I came to admire her kindness, strength, interests in all the arts and great humor. The group feels the loss & will miss her during our adventures. Faye Fraser

Cathi taught me English 20 in 1981. She made a great impact on me, and was one of the teachers I could go and talk with and walk away knowing I had been listened to; she always made me feel valued. Perhaps she may never know the impact she had on me, and other students, with just a few brief years of instruction and interaction. Regardless, all these years later and I am deeply saddened by news of her passing and grateful I was blessed by her talents of education and care. God speed, Cathi!

My heartfelt condolences to Cathi's family and many friends. Cathi changed my life. As my English teacher in Junior and Senior High School, Cathi instilled in me an unending love of reading and learning. She was an AMAZING educator -- she made mastering and appreciating English as a language, along with all of its "greatest hits" (even Shakespeare!), fascinating! Among her many truly outstanding traits, Cathi's generosity of spirit will be something that I will always remember and...

Cathi and I taught together at Churchill in the seventies. Those were halcyon days for new teachers. We learned a lot and laughed a lot. When I think of Cathi it is her sense of fun that first comes to mind, and memories of Cathi will bring smiles, not only to me but also to all who knew her. Is there a greater legacy? My condolences to Joyce, Russ, Keith and families

I was one of Miss Ramden's (Cathi's)legion of admiring English students at SWC in the late 70s and early 80s. A really gifted teacher who created community wherever she went. I saw her only once after graduating in 1981, but she is remembered very fondly 35 years later .... Sincere sympathy extended to her family and friends.

May Jesus lift your spirits as you remember Cathi. She was a great gal. I remember so well her laughter, her humor and her love of music. She'll be missed but also remembered with love,
