Catherine Saullo

SAULLO, Catherine E., 88, passed away Saturday at the Laurels of University Park, where she had been a resident. Born in Hazleton, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Bernadino. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Phillip Saullo; daughter, Mary Catherine Williams; grandson, John Saullo Jr.; and several brothers and sisters. Surviving are her children, Roseann Burford and her husband, William, of Richmond, Va., and Robert Saullo and his wife, Patrice, of Virginia; grandchildren, Tisha (McGrory) Sparzak and Sean McGrory and his wife, Erika; 13 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held in Hazleton, Pa. The Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton, is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences can be sent through www.moranfuneralhome.com.
