Read MoreI attended Dr. St John´s Seven Arts class at Mahwah High School. She was a wonderful mentor and an inspired teacher. I met her too soon in my life as I was too immature to take full advantage of her lessons. I regret not staying in touch, but she will always be in my prayers and remain an inspiring memory.

Dr Catherine St John is described as a floating angel ~ whenever she entered my Berkeley College Interior Design Art Class in Waldwick, she would glide across the classroom as she spoke. I had Miss St. John for my art teacher at Mahwah High School. I took the Seven Arts Class that she taught. I graduated high school in 1971, and I knew her very well, even then as Miss Palinski! She was an inspiration to me and made me think! My friend, Tina, and I visited her at her home during high school and we would all have dinner together at her place.
