Read MoreMs. was my beloved English teacher when she taught at Harper High School in Jackson, Al. We kept in touch after our first Class Reunion in 1993 and she said "we had done her proud to have gone out into the world and be able to come back to where we started." I talked to her in December 2013, and she still had fond memories of the Class of 1962. She contributed to the success of so many students and we are grateful.

Cousin Catherine was an inspiration to me, and I made it a point to visit her each time I came from California to Mobile. I loved reminiscing with her about the past,and learning new and exciting things about the family. She was a strong and courageous woman, and I will always hold her in my heart with love.
