Personally, Catherine and I have communicated over the years and fortunately had the opportunity to spend some time together on my 2005 trip back to Des Moines. We also had attendance at Warren Harding in common, she having graduated from Harding in 1929.

What a wonderful woman Catherine was. Growing up next door to her, I had always admired her. She was such a strong woman in so many ways. Rich was a great guy as well and loved her very much.
She will be missed greatly.
