Michelle and Eileen, It was so lovely to read about Kit's life. I knew very little of it. My very fond memories of Kit and Eddie were of them regularly visiting us when we were children in their camper vans in the summer. We would hear about where they had been and where they were going next and it was so exciting. I still dream of having a camper van one day and setting off on the open road ...Lot of love Colette Procter

Dear Michele and Eileen,
Thank you for the beautiful picture and great educational bio of your mom.
I met your Dad and Mom in the stock and bond business in Pasadena
but became great friends in the integration of the Pasadena schools. They were very active and helped in bringing fairness and change to PUSD. I miss them greatly. Jim Spangler

Michele and Eileen, this is a lovely remembrance of a remarkable woman. She and your dad made a big difference in my life, as did you both. There is no truth to the rumor that I am a Democrat today because of the cupcake you bought me at Noren's Bakery back in Second Grade. There is some truth to the idea that my interest in politics today was sparked by the lively conversations in your home 50 years ago. Lots of love to you both. Sara (Puck) Longworth, Anacortes, WA
