Jerry and I have great memories of spending time with you and Cathy when we lived in Illinois. I remember meeting all your children and though it's been almost 10 years, I know they have grown to be young adults that you are very proud of. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Dear Mrs. Whetter and Family,

I remember Cathy as a childhood friend. We played hopscotch, seven-up, Barbie, and school. Cathy was smart and athletic. It's no wonder she made cheerleading in high school. I regret not keeping our friendship. We reunited when she lived in Clarendon Hills and I in Westmont. She had a very nice home and her first child on the way.

I can't believe her life ended so young. I'm sure her life is a wonderful example to her...

Cathy was the big sister to my lifelong, dear friend Patty. Knowing Cathy has made a lasting impression on me. Growing up she was the cool teenager I looked up to in the neighborhood. Cathy actually planned out her wardrobe for the month and noted her outfits on her calendar which hung on her bedroom wall. I really thought that was brilliant and to this day I think of her when I plan my outfits ahead of time. I also admired how she knew all the words to all of the hit songs on the radio. I...
