Cathryn Farrell, 97, passed away March, 1, 2014.
Survivors include nieces, Peggy Schuman and Kathleen Toft; nephews, Dan McKittrick, Pat, Jerry and Bill Farrell, and Doug, Daryl and David Mergen. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral mass will be held 1:30pm Friday at Prince of Peace Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. www.heritagesfsd.com.

I knew +Cathryn for almost 25 years, and I was saddened to hear of her passing. May she rest in peace. I will gladly offer the Holy Mass for her Soul's happy repose. May the Peace of Christ and of His Holy Mother be with the Family of +Cathryn.

I remember Catherine well from when I was a little girl. She would come to our home for Christmas parties, as she worked at the VA with my dad Bob. She would always bring me a small gift, and it was always something I saved and loved. I then remember seeing her volunteering at Avera when my folks were both in hospice, and it made my Dad so happy to see her again. She lived a full, purposeful life. May God Bless her memory and her family.

Aunt Cathy was a kind and gentle lady! She always had a smile on her face and a a positive thought to share! I will always remember all of the love she shared with us...even into our adult years.
