Cathy Cardillo

Cathy, my dear friend-an amazing person, principled, passionate, an advocate for her clients, witty, and compassionate, despite what some may perceive as brash and matter-of-fact. As I repeatedly stated, to know you is to love you. Rest in peace, my dear friend.

Cathy enriched my life with her quick mind, artistic perspective, energy and strength. She was a passionate and creative advocate and a good friend. She loved to explore new places and food and shared her photos and stories with us. My husband and I miss her.

Cathy was a dear friend who was very loving towards our daughter Mia. She had a wry sense of humor and was always an interesting dinner guest. Her photos of her world travel showed her keen eye. She will be missed by the walton family.

I am so sorry to read of Cathy's death. She was a remarkable and memorable person in so many ways. She was my student when I was Dean of Students at Rutgers Law School and her always upbeat and embracing personality endeared her to the faculty and her fellow students. She was Ms. Hoboken and so delighted in her home town. I am thrilled to learn she became such a world traveler and nurtured not only herself but her friends and family as well. Hers was a life well-lived.
