Cathy was born December 6, 1958 in Renton, WA to J.B. "Red" and Margaret Norris; she passed away at her home in Burlington with family by her side.

As a young child her family moved to Sedro- Woolley where she graduated high school in 1978.

Cathy enjoyed reading, garage sales, trips to Sequim and Hawaii, camping in Canada, working and especially her family-she was concerned more about family and friends than herself. She was loyal, loving, caring, respectful and giving. She worked for many years at Max Dales until starting her own cleaning company.

Cathy was preceded in death by her father: J.B. "Red" and sister in law: Diane Norris.

She is survived by her husband: Jim; mother: Margaret; sister: Ann (Mark) White; brothers: Ron (Dyllan) Norris, Ken (Dawn) Norris; children: Joe (Tiffany) Schibret, V, Jenny Schibret, Mike (Michelle) Doughty and Kim (Greg) Lee; grandchildren: Parker and Molly Rocha, Jacob and Shayne Doughty, Austin and Shelby Lee; brother in law: Dr. Lloyd Anderson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

In the span of Cathy's life she touched all she met. Her loving way and smile was her gift to the World. Her belief in God enabled her to love and care for all she knew, that faith is what helped her battle cancer.

A private family service will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers and cards, memorials may be made in Cathy's name to Hospice of the Northwest.

Not sure what to say?

Thinking of you. Working with you was so much fun. I miss those days. You are missed. <3

I am so sorry. I didn't know. Rest in peace.

What a sweet young lady always a smile and a big hug when you saw her So happy I was one of the lucky ones to get to know her Thoughts and prayers go to her family

Dear Family of Cathy,
Although I didn't know of her battle or that she was ill, I wanted to say I think she was one of the sweetest people ever. We grew up together and shared many common & mutual friends and good experiences as children. It looks like she didn't change even a little bit except to become a precious wife, mother, family member and friend to many. So sorry for your loss.

Dear Norris family I'm so sorry to hear about Cathy. May the good Lord wrap his loving arms around all of you during this time of sorrow. Prayers hugs and love to all.

Growing up as a child, my families favorite restaurant was Max Dales and our favorite server was Cathy. As Mom and Dad loved to go out to eat at least once a week, we all had the pleasure of being taken care of by Cathy countless times over the years. My sister had even dated Cathy's brother in high school so I got to know her pretty well. Just the past couples of years, Cathy And I became reacquainted after so many years as I now work with her daughter Jenny. 13 months ago, my Mom past...

Dear Jim and all of Cathy's family,
This is indeed a sad time. Cathy was a special woman. She cared about others more than herself. She loved animals and was very giving with her 'treats' that they all came to depend on.
I miss her very much already as I am sure all of you do.
I hope your memories of Cathy help you through this time. I will hold my memories of her close to my heart forever.

Margaret, Ann, Ron and Ken,
So very sorry to hear of Cathy's passing. Thinking of you all with love.
Ray Knowlton

My condolences to and your family on the passing of Cathy
