Not sure what to say?

I am saddened to read about the death of Dr . Hirt and his wife . I found out yesterday reading about the National Kidney foundation . A Memorial in their honor . I pray the family and friends are healing with Gods help . I first met Dr . Hirt in 1992 at Arlington Medical Center . I was taking care of one of his Patients. I told him he could not be a Doctor that he was too nice . He will be missed .

Elise Ansel's show at Ellsworth Gallery as visited by the Hirts.

I had the pleasure of meeting Darrell and Cathy when they acquired several Elise Ansel paintings from our gallery in Santa Fe. They were gracious, engaged and thoughtful collectors. I am so sorry to hear of their passing.

I had the privilege of working with Dr. Hirt for a few years. He had a kind heart and such a warm spirit. Prayers to his children and other family.

How do you say good-bye to your friend and confidant ? Cathy and Darryl were jewels. Cathy always greeted me with a smile and spoke encouraging words to inspire me to continue to give back to the community. Cathy was intrigued about helping our students at YWLA as we both served as board members. She opened her home to us and made us feel as if her home was our home. Cathy and Darryl's hearts were full of love for everyone they met. They have both left such an amazing legacy that...

Alex was Dr. Hirt's dialysis patient. He is going 2b greatly missed. He always gave Alex hope, truth, faith in God healing. We are praying in Jesus Christ name the Lord GOD Almighty Give each one Y'all comfort & peace @ this time.

Cathy and Darrell were such wonderful and kind people.
I've been shocked when I found out about their passing.
It was always a treat to even just interact with them,
whether it was for business or at one of the family gatherings.
Tina, Alex and Karl I am truly sorry for your loss!

Lots of fond memories of those two. They are truly going to be missed.

Tina, Karl, and Alex -

I was a huge fan of your parents. Cathy was a voice of common sense for our city. Darrell was the wind beneath her wings, always supportive. They sacrificed so much for Fort Worth, because they loved this city.

They were so strong in their faith and passionate about helping others. They were examples for all of us.

You are in my thoughts every day.

Graduated with Darrell in 1972 from Rockdale fondly remember a very special person in him. So sorry to hear about him & his wife. Our sympathy goes out to the whole family!
