I wish I had succeeded in convincing you to come to our class reunions, but you wouldn't budge! I hope your family is comforted at this difficult time. God speed.

Dear Shannon, Melody and Amanda; I am so sorry to hear about your mom. She was a wonderful, selfless, generous person; honest and true. She is one the best persons that have had the privilege to call my friend.... She came to my rescue when I was a young person with an uncertain future; and opened your home to me. Without her I'm not sure where I would be today. ..Your mom was the salt of the earth.
