Not sure what to say?

It's difficult to think Cathy has been gone for 6 years, yet memories of her are so strong still, as was Cathy herself! I often look through photos of her visit to me in Seattle and wish she could be here in person again. I know her family still misses her terribly, but they should take heart in the many years that they had her and the many memories of her that still seem as fresh as yesterday.

Dear M and L.,
I was looking for you Mom's address and came across her obit. I am so very sorry for your loss. My hubby and I lived next door to ya'll
in the late 80's. We were from Texas and your family made us feel so welcome. Do you girls remember the steak dinner that you helped prepare and we ate on the back patio. We lived there a couple of years. I lost my hubby Bob last Sept. 26th from a major stroke, so we all have lost a loved one since we were last in touch. My...

Lynnette and Michelle, sending you my love deepest sympathy. Cathy was such a good friend and my Facebook buddy. We spent hours personal messaging back and forth. We also went out for dinner and spent hours talking.

I will miss her so very much and she will alway be in my heart.

A "personal message" to Cathy. I am sure that you are dancing in the valley of heaven with a wonderful lead, God. That is how I will always think of you my friend and I will never forget you. Thanks for...

So so sorry I cannot believe this I did not know that Kathy was sick! I am so sorry!!!

Cathy's bright smile and giggle is what I will always remember at NHS. One year she was my Secret Pal and I loved finding little gifts for her. She delighted in everything so it was easy to buy for her. Her special legacy will be her two beautiful daughters whom she cherished above all. She was also a good friend for which I will be eternally grateful.

Michelle and Lynnette...your mother was not only my cousin but my friend! I always loved introducing her as the oldest of the 8 Starr grandchildren! Which she always expressed with her hearty laugh - her dismay at my words! I still am in shock of all of this - and reading her obit brought me to tears again. I remember Aunt Micki having Cath play Candy Land with me - which really she never gripped about even though she was 7 years older than I. I thought she was so cool! I was honored to...

I remember working with her with the Northland band. Will be very missed!!!!

She was one of a kind! I loved getting to know her over the years. She might be gone, but she will never be forgotten.
