Not sure what to say?

Ruth & Nolan...It was really difficult for me to hear the news of Mr. Larry Holdorff's passing. I count him as a great friend of mine who gave himself and his time for so many hours on Alvin High School's tennis courts. He provided the "way" for me to many tennis tournaments and his ongoing counseling was so comforting. My friend and your father will be sorely missed.

LARRY WILL BE MISED. I REMEMBER WHAT A FAMILY MAN HE WAS. HE WOULD SOMETIME BRING HIS CHILDREN TO WORK WITH HIM ON SATURDAYS IN ALVIN,TEXAS.PRAYERS OR WITH THE FAMILY.

I am thankful that God placed me and Patricia as a close neighbor to you and Ingrid even if for only 3 years. W have nothing but fond memories of you. I hope to meet you again some day.

Larry lived his life on earth as an example for all...a man who touched many lives, each in a special way. He was a brilliant man, wonderful story-teller, and a very dear friend. I will miss our "backyard chats". Our Shasta Cove family will never be the same. But one thing is for sure...Larry is with our dear Lord and watching over all of us.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Our world has lost a giant of a man. Eternity has gained a brilliant star. May beautiful memories comfort and sustain you.
With love to your entire family,
Martha Cooley

What a sad loss for each of you! What great memories I have of him at church and at home when we "invaded" the Holdorff house! My thoughts are with all of you at this sad time. I know your faith will comfort you. I see the Chronicle on line often to catch up. Glad I caught this posting. All my love. Susan

Larry you are truly one of my role models in how to live an activist, productive life.
Look at what we did in Alvin during the tumultous 60's.
You gave to much to many. I will miss you, expecially your sense of humor

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help at this time.
