DICKERSON, Rev. Dr. C.C., of Richmond, passed away on October 10, 2009, when God called his son to Heaven. He is survived by stepdaughter, Rae-Sheaun Cheeks-Dempsey; two grandchildren, Mekeda and Brandon Cheeks; four great-grandchildren, Dominique, Tassion, Briyanna and SirPaul Cheeks; a devoted nephew, Johnny Crews; a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Sixth Baptist Church, 400 S. Addison Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral. Dr. Yvonne Bibbs (pastor) officiating. Interment Jericho Baptist Cemetery, Ruther Glen, Va.
