Cdr. USN James Michael Smyth

Hi Dad! We still miss you so much. Mom left us last night and is finally reunited with you. Knowing how happy you both must be, helps us in our grief. You and mom have been my guardian angels for 67 years, and I´m counting on you and mom to continue as my Heavenly Guardian Angels. I love you both and miss you terribly.

My family grew up with the Smyth family in a small farming Community in Spalding, Ne. So knew Jim and his family well. Wonderful people all the way around. Jim and my brother Mark were classmates, and very close friends. Jim was a kind and very respected person. We all send our sympathy to Marilyn and the family as well as his brothers and sister.
