Mrs. Griffin was a wonderful neighbor for over twenty years (Cambridgeport being her neighborhood for much longer). Through example she taught us that life is good when every interaction is sincere and kind and that life worth living can be built from from these small everyday interactions. She cherished her independence, yet her conversations and smiles from up on her stoop were generous gifts to us. The willow tree that she planted in her back yard when she was young and that grew so huge...

I had the pleasure of meeting “Ma Griffin” over 25 years ago thru her daughter Diane. Ma Griffin’s kindness and encouraging words will always be in my heart. I can still hear her say “ oh don’t worry about it it will get better”. To the Family: May God give you peace in this season, may you experience His comfort like never before.
