Adobe Creek Funeral Home - Petaluma Obituary

Cecelia Lynn Ingerson Hernandez, known affectionately as Cece to all who knew her, was a beacon
of light and an embodiment of joy in the lives of those she touched. Born on June 3, 2005, in the city
of Santa Rosa where she also drew her last breath on November 27, 2024, Cecelia's journey, though
brief, was marked by an unwavering spirit of determination and a heart overflowing with love.
In every facet of her life, Cecelia was a leader. Cece's academic journey culminated with her
graduation from Connections Academy in 2023, a milestone that marked the beginning of a future
brimming with potential. Her indomitable spirit shone brightly during her years with the Penngrove
4H, where she blossomed into a leader, serving as president and leaving an indelible impact.
Cece's passion for raising and breeding championship rabbits was more than a hobby—it was a
canvas where her leadership skills and her ability to mentor younger 4H members were vividly
displayed. Her triumph over open-heart surgery was a testament to her courage and her relentless
will to overcome life's hurdles.
Beyond her academic and leadership achievements, Cecelia had a flair for bringing out the beauty
in the world and in others. Her love for doing nails, hair, and makeup was more than a pastime; it
was a way for her to connect with people, to make them feel good about themselves, and to spread
a little more joy in the world.
Cecelia's family was the cornerstone of her life. She was a cherished daughter to Trisha Ingerson
and “dude” Steven Enjaian, and daughter of Jesse Hernandez, a loving big sister to Adalynn, Jayden
and Aniyah and a beloved granddaughter to Kevin and Susan Ingerson, Molly and Bryan Conner,
Steve and Donna Enjaian, Tomas Hernandez, and Mary Hernandez. Her uncles Joey, David, Jeffrey,
Michael, Matt, Tommy, and her aunt Rachel, along with her cousins Alexis, Aubrey, Cole, Lea,
Wyatt, Jax, Jessie, Jordan, Ava, Logan, Lilli and numerous others, will carry her memory in their
hearts forever. Cecelia's vast network of aunts, uncles, and extended family members were all
touched by her infectious laughter and boundless energy.
Though Cecelia's departure from this world was premature, her spirit remains a guiding light for all
who knew her. In the words of William Shakespeare, "And though she be but little, she is fierce."
Cecelia's fierce love and presence echoed in the laughter she shared, the comfort she offered, and
the thoughtful gestures that defined her. Cecelia deeply loved life, and her passion has become a
part of the tapestry of countless lives.
Cecelia's story is a reminder to all of us that life is precious and that we must embrace every
moment with the same passion and enthusiasm that she did. Her legacy is not defined by her
untimely departure but by the profound impact she made on the world in her 19 years. Her spirit,
her joy, her love—these are the gifts that Cecelia has left behind, gifts that will continue to inspire
and uplift all who were blessed to know her.
As we reflect on Cecelia's life, let us not dwell on the sorrow of her absence but rather celebrate the
beauty of her existence. Let us honor her memory by living our lives with the same courage, love,
and vivacity that she demonstrated every day. Cecelia Lynn Ingerson Hernandez, your light will
forever shine brightly in the hearts of those you've touched. Your journey continues within each of
us, guiding us towards a future filled with hope, beauty, and the strength to transform dreams into
reality. We will forever love you more, always.

Cece ~ I love you to the moon and back! You and your mom helped us through some of our most difficult moments. You gave us comfort, love, joy, and made us feel welcome in your home. I can hear your laugh, I can feel your hugs, and I have so many wonderful memories that I am forever grateful for! You touched my life in a way that I can’t put into words & I know you did the same for my 3 boys.
Sis ~ you are an amazing mother! You are an amazing person! I know the love that you have for...

We miss you mama

Cece, in your younger years your laughter and friendship with my granddaughter Kait meant so much to her. You two would spend hours together pushing Daphne up the street in the Barbie car with a dying battery and so many other fun and giggly times. Your life was much too short, and I send my loving intentions for peace, both for you and your family. All my love, Grandma Sharon K.

Cece I have no words to describe how we are all feeling right now. We love and miss you so very much and I am so lucky and fortunate to have been able to have you as my bonus daughter. You and Kai had a very special bond that nobody could ever take aw

I loved you more than you knew and I’m sorry for that. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about you and how much pain you must have been in. When I met you in 7th grade I knew I was gonna care about you for the rest of my life. You were my best friend, my sister, and my birthday twin. June 3rd will never be the same without you. I’m so so sorry my love.
