Wilmot, NH-Cecelia A. (Yeager) Richardson, 65, of Campground Road, died Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH surrounded by family.

She was born in Wilmington, DE on December 31, 1958 the daughter of the late Russell Yeager and Anna “Lolly” (Bierczynski) Sprague.

Cecelia attended Andover Elementary School and graduated from Franklin High School in 1976.  Living in the area most of her life, she had been employed by Cricenti's Market, Pastries Plus and, most recently, Hannaford's.

She was an avid reader with a home full of books.  She also enjoyed baking, puzzles, sewing, practical jokes and traveling.  Known as Bachie to her only grandchild, Cecelia was at her best being a grandmother.  She just loved that role and always looked forward to time spent with Paige.

She is survived by four sons, Alan (Jen) Richardson of Bradford, NH, Jason Richardson of Bradford, NH, Matthew Richardson of Andover, NH and Brian Richardson of Andover, NH; her beloved granddaughter, E. Paige Richardson of Bradford, NH; her mother, Anna “Lolly” Sprague of The Villages, FL; two brothers, Jerome (Cindy) Yeager of Sutton, NH and Eugene (Anna) Yeager of FL; her former husband and father of their sons, Wendell Richardson of Springfield, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the Chadwick Funeral Home, 235 Main Street, New London, NH on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 P.M.  Everyone is invited to the Wilmot Community Association, 64 Village Road, Wilmot, NH following the visitation to share food and fellowship with the family and each other.  Family burial will be in the spring in Proctor Cemetery, Andover, NH.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA  22116-7023.

Not sure what to say?

Alan, Jason, Brian and Matt and family. I'm so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed working with your mom at Cricenti's and also Hannaford's. We used to go to bingo every week. She could be very comical. R.I.P. Ceal!

Dear Brian, Matt, Alan, Jason and family: I was saddened to hear of your moms passing. She was such a lovely lady, we always stopped and chatted; she held each of you in the palm of her hand. Her being a Grandmother
was always a smile to her. "Love is stronger than sorrow, and deeper than time." Hold on to your good times together. Love and peace to you. Beryl Sanborn

Sorry for your loss. You're in our thoughts.

Dear Alan, Jen, Jason & Paige, my heartfelt sympathy to you all!!!! Love and hugs. Linda/CT

I was shocked and saddened to hear this News. My Condolences to the Family. Ive known Cecilia for years ever since she started working for my Father Frank Cricenti and Brother Bobby. I've also known her other Family Members for just as long. The last time I saw Cecilia was at the "Car Show-Cruise Night" at The Refinery Barbecue in Andover last summer. I always enjoyed talkung to her when I saw her. She will be Missed.

Brian, Matt, Alan and Jason. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts.

Alan, Jason, Matt and Brian, I was just told about your mom. I’m devastated. Although I haven’t seen her for a year, when we did meet up, we’d always share laughs and she’d tell me how you guys were. She was so happy to have that granddaughter but you four were her jewels. I have fond memories to remember her by and I know you all do as well. She was a good mom and a hard worker. I wish I had known she wasn’t feeling well so I could’ve encouraged her to come to Dartmouth with me. I’m so...

Alan and Jason sorry to hear about your mom. Our prayers and thoughts for you and your whole family.

We will miss you dear friend. We will savor the good times we had
