Mrs. Tufting

I got to thinking about Mr. Alexander today as I was looking at Mrs. Tufting. Helen made a line of stuffed animals based on shorthand characters and he brought me one as a gift about 10 years ago. We became friends while he was seeing my doctor at the Emory Spine Center. What a wonderful, smart, kind man he was.I absolutely LOVED when he would come because he always had some fascinating story or memory to share. I think of him every time I look up at Mrs. Tufting, who has been on my desk...

I give my condolences to the Alexander family for their loss.
Mr Alexander did a great service to all Atlantans in the late '60's...also my Dad, Curtis Lynn, spoke well of Mr Alexander as he did work for him when he built his round house in the '50's.. We have 2 twin beds given to my family from that time..my Father passed on 7/11/14 @ 92 and we miss him as we miss Mr Alexander being with us...

After having recently learned about my genealogical connection to Cecil
Alexander I only wish I could have meet Him when he was alive. My connection is thru his Grandparents Mr. & Mrs. A. A. Alexander my Great Grandparents.

Helen, Terri, Judith, Doug and families: Cecil was an amazing man whom I feel privileged to know for many years through our friendships. He will be deeply missed, and I hope that warm, family stories about him will help you. Love, Deby

With my love and deepest sympathy to all of you. So many wonderful and fond memories fill my heart. You are all in my thoughts!

He was simply the best. My life is so much richer because of the few years we spent working together. I was out of town and have just returned. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Gina Cogswell

Helen, Judith, Terri and Doug,
I am just back in town and am so very sorry I missed Cecil's service. Know how much Dan and I loved and respected Cecil. We had some wonderful times with him and each of you along the way.
My condolences, Tally Sweat

Always a pleasant man, enjoyed working for him over the last number of years. I'm sure he will be missed. The Great ones didn't need to boast, they just lived by example.

Dear Judy,
So sorry to learn of your loss. I just read your Dad's memoir, and loved reading it.
