Not sure what to say?

In my minds eye, I remember Cecil simply as being my big brother. It was the early 70's and his music, smile, and beautiful long red hair made an impression on me as a small child. I will never forget him watching the "Muppets" with me just because I asked. He played with us and made childhood a fun place to be. (He even taught me how to ride a bicycle so many years ago, not that I could do it now!). Not once have I ever forgotten that he loved me not because he had to but because he wanted...

Back in the early 80's, I was walking down College Steet on a very hot summer day. There was a group of guys on a front porch just chillin' with some cold beverages. Cecil hollered out to me that I looked hot and invited me to come on up and chill for a spell. That is how I met Cecil Brewer. The next day I met Robert. Since that chance meeting, we have been close friends. We shared a love for a big fire and a circle of friends and getting together on Saturdays to listen to Larry Munson while...

Robert, Teresa,and Ms.Rose,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Cecil was a great friend and he meant a lot to me. I haven't seen him in 10 years or so but I thought about him alot. He was a good person and would help you any way he could. Cecil, I hope to see you again one day my friend. Rest easy brother.

We remember the little redhead, he was part of our family growing up.
He loved to play football and baseball along with all the other kids in the neighborhood. He will be missed, but he is with the LORD now.
Our prayers go out to you Rose and your family. Beverly and Marion Wade. Sycamore,Ga.

Rest in peace my friend. Send me a post card, Cecil. I'll be missing you. Much love to his family.

I too have fond memories of Cecil; running the bases or diving over one of our parents bushes in the front yard to score the touchdown. I will also remember that red headed boy with the warm heart that lived across the street. Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to Robert and Miss Rose. May the Lord provide you comfort during this time of grief.
