Cecil L. Brown

Brown, Cecil L. – age 80, of Knoxville, TN passed away on May 14, 2005. He was a member of Iron Workers Local 384 in Knoxville for 60 years. He was an active member and supported the Alcoholics Anonymous program in Knoxville.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Brown; son, Cecil L. Brown Jr. and wife Donna Brown; son, James O. Brown and wife, Shirley Brown; sister, Ettlee Morgan and brother-in-law, Stanley Fox. Other survivors include four grandchildren, C. L. Brown III, and wife, Lisa Brown, Kim Brown, Jim Brown, Adam Brown and wife, Amanda Brown. He had four great grandchildren, Chrissy Brown, Kelia Brown, Will Brown and Elijah Brown- all of Knoxville.

Family and friends will meet at 2:15 pm on Tuesday, May 17, 2005, at Stevens Mortuary and go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for a 3:00 pm graveside service and interment with Rev. Lester Mullins officiating.

Pallbearers will be C. L. Brown III, Jim Brown, Adam Brown, Allen Watson, Cecil Jones, and Steve Brooks.

Family will receive friends from 6-7 pm Monday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at Broadway.
