To the Family of Cecil Callender:
When Cecil applied and went on to attend Howard University in the 60's, he was a great role model to me.When I last saw Cecil in 2010, when his Mom and I were both going through physical therapy at Atlantic Care, I did not hesitate to again share this with him.He will be sorely missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Callendar Family. Last time I saw Cecil he was doing what he did best doing photogrpahy to gather history at an event for another retiree here at the Tech Center. Since Cecil was a man of history he truly will be remembered as a part of history.

When someone leaves so suddenly, we feel a hard, deep sting. If we experience this twice in one year, it can be especially devastating. Mrs. Callender, Ivy, Gary, and family, lean not to your own understanding, but trust in GOD today and always. HE promised never to leave us alone and HIS promises are true.

Words cannot adequately express the sadness and sorrow of a sudden departure of a loved one. Family, please rest in the arms of Jesus and lean on family and friends for strength. Our prayer is that you are surrounded in the love of Jesus, family, and friends during this time of grieving.

He made sure that everything was running smoothly during all of our events. I went to a bridal shower a few years ago and their he was taking pictures and video recording the event. On December 2011 my daughter got married, I only wanted the best for this joyous occasion, I got Mr. Callender excellent choice.!!! I'm so grateful I was able to...
