Not sure what to say?

God Bless to Mr. Burke, I was the eldest of 5 and my dad loved the Days Inn chains. He always thought they were the best buy for the buck! I then worked on an account which was referred to as "Tollman Hundley" in the late nineties as a CPA. It included several Days Inn. Tonite I am staying in one as I write this. God is with us! God Bless America and Cecil Burke!

The Magnolia Garden Club of Moultrie, Georgia send our condolences and prayers for the loss of your son and family member.

I had the privilege of growing up with the Day family and what a wonderful family they are! I'm so sorry to hear of Burke's passing but knowing he is with the lord helps with the pain. We all were blessed to be a part of his life and my thoughts and prayers are with all the family! RIP you were a great Man, Son, Brother, Father and Husband! God Bless

To a man who served God and country with grace. You will be missed.

A Tybee treasure and devoted public servant who gave so much of himself to the community and far beyond! His legacy and spirit will forever remain among all those whose lives he touched. Condolences to Sally, family and his legions of friends.

I remember Rev. Lon

I remember Rev. Lon Day from way back in the 30's
when he preached in Pooler, GA. Sympathy to the family.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Cecil. Our deep sympathy to you and your family during this difficult time. May the " God of all comfort" help you cope and give you strength and peace. 2 Corenthians 1:3,4

I've known Burke for well over 30+ years. We shared, distantly, the lovely Elizabeth Day (my step-great-grandmother). Burke was simply an amazing True Southern Gentleman! Tybee will never lose him: his footprints will always rest in the sand, his laughter dance on the southern breeze, his love embrace us. We were all blessed to live in the time with Burke Day.

My prayers go to the day family. We were school mates at Peachtree High School.
