I remember Mr. Farrington from my high school days. I was in the FLHS Band and in Boy Scouts with Penn, and remember his father, who once wrote a letter or recommendation for me. He's done work over the years for my mother Dorothy, which both of us appreciate.

The obituary is a fitting tribute to a life well lived.

My heart felt condolences to the family of this wonderful man who I greatly respected and admired. I am glad to see a man like Mr. Farrington recognized. He really was a very organized person and had a brilliant legal mind. About 14 years ago I had the privilege to meet him and he took time to mentor me in real estate and probate law. Dear The Farrington Family,
We are sadden by the passing of Cecil. He was a wise and kind man who never said a negative word about anyone and always a role model and inspiration to all of us.
In his professional life, since 1974 until his retirement, he represent us in difficult times and guided us with his understanding of human nature and moral standards. Personally, I can think of no one else will ever compare to his qualities and compassion.
