Cecil was born on July 9, 1946 and passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. Cecil was a resident of Arkansas at the time of passing. He graduated in 1965 from Springdale High School. Visitation will be Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 5 to 7pm at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. A private family burial service will follow at Gibbs Cemetery near Harrison. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Shady Grove Cemetery Association, in care of Judy Epley, 13400 Maple Hill Road, Alpena, Arkansas 72611.

Dear friend, fellow trapper, fellow story-teller. Always admired Cecil's dry wit and storytelling, remarkable deft at trapping and fur handling. Even now, 5 years after he passed, I miss him greatly. He walked his own path, and was wise and skilled in his chosen interests. One of a kind. Hope to see you again, old friend.
