Not sure what to say?

Hi Dad, you left us 4 years ago and it still hurts us all. We talk about you all the time and we all share great memories together. Even today when life throws me a curve ball I remember your uplifting words of encouragement and I lean on them. You were by far the best Dad in the world hands down. Love you always.

I sure miss you papaw, thank you for adopting me as your granddaughter. I love you

Cecil, for as long as Larry and I have been married, I remember him talking about how important you were in his life. I always enjoyed our visits with you and listening to your stories and the many bible scriptures you knew by heart. You will be missed by many and it is certainly difficult to say goodbye, but you will be remembered and loved always. I know that you are in heaven and I look forward to visiting with you again.

Love you always,
Debbie Compston

Dad, your pain is now over and when I think of this it brings me great joy! Thank you for my upbringing, the teaching of the word, quoting me scriptures even as you lay in the hospital bed! You have been the best Father that anyone could ask for, always putting others first in your life, always making sure that everyone had what they needed, family, co-workers, neighbors & friends. If I can only be a fraction of the person that you have been I know that I will be ok. I will strive to make...
