I worked with Cecil years ago and he was the most kind and inspiring man always filled with the Holy Spirit giving words of encouragement to me as a young man. He told me stories about the WPA workers in Grand Rapids working on the streets when he was a kid and the area where he grew up. You could always count on his Monday morning stories about fishing out of his row boat on Lloyds Bayou. Cecil has certainly given me great appreciation for an example of character in how he lived.
