Not sure what to say?

Our best to family and friends of Cecil. We taught together at Cascade Elementary in Marysville. Loved the days he drove his Model A Ford to school with flowers in the vase on the driver's door frame. Tremendous sense of humor and put everthing in perspective. Never seemed to be upset with anything. Rest in peace knowing you were one of the best.

Class of 50 remembers his wonderful humor and was a true friend

There were/are a lot of teachers in our family. Cecil was a good, kind man, who wanted what was best for kids. That generation of family can't be replaced. Prayers for all.

This was my 5th grade teacher at sunnyside. He was one of the teachers that always stood out in my mind and the time we played a trick on the class. He took me next door to a empty class room that was separated by a curtain, and said, I'm going to clap my hands and you scream like you were hit across the face. He clapped, I screamed. We walked into the class room together and nobody made a sound. Kept that a secret until now. That was around 1985 or so.

Sorry to hear of Cecil passing away...I taught with Cecil for many years in Fifth Grade at Sunnyside and always looked forward to going to work every day as Cecil always was coming up with some innovative idea for teaching young people..
