Dear Family & Friends of Cecil: I am saddened to hear of Cecil's passing. I met him at the Nautilus OC Plus many years ago when we both were participating in the 9:30 a.m. water aerobics class. Occasionally I would see him in Freddie's or other stores but was really surprised to learn that he was a parishioner at St. John the Apostle which has been my parish for over 15 years! The funeral Mass was beautifully done today and I was especially moved by his young granddaughter's heartfelt eulogy....

I am saddened to hear of Cecil's passing. I met Cecil at the Nautilus OC Plus in Oregon City when we were both attending the 9:30 a.m. water aerobics class! Occasionally I would see him in Fred Meyer or other store, then eventually at St. John the Apostle. I had no idea he attended there. He was a very friendly, positive person. My condolences to his family, friends, and others who had the privilege of meeting him. I watched the live stream of Cecil's funeral Mass and listened to his young...

Cecil was a very loving hands on father and grandfather. He showed his love for his family everyday.
I will always have the best memories of him cooking delicious italian meals in the big house he built to for his large family.
Holidays and celebrations, and especially birthday parties were always at Grandpa's.
Always around that same large table.
His famous oyster stew was a Christmas tradition that we all looked forward to.
