Cecil Derwood McCullough

Our lives may we all cherish,
for one day we will perish..;
leaving spouces, children, friends, and other family
to sit back and review our history.
Thinking where did the time go,
he was just here, now he's gone.
My deepest sympathies to the family of Mr. McCullough.
I simply say,
2Corinthians 1:3,4-"Blessed be the God and Father ofour Lord Jesus Christ,the Father... of all Comfort,who comforts US in all tribulation.."
May He Comfort you in this difficult time.

Long time Houlka teacher, Miss Mary Vance Joyner, once told me that of all the students she ever knew, Derwood McCullough and Robin Mathis were the "finest gentlemen." Like Gen. Lee, his very demeanor embodied nobility, and he endured misfortune with the same grace that attended his victories.

Chckasaw County was a better place for his life here, and is worse for the passing of another of the "Greatest Generation."
