LITTLEFIELD(Special): Funeral Services for Cecil Penney, age 75 of Lubbock will be conducted at 10:30 PM, Saturday, February 26, 2003 at Hammons Funeral Home Chapel in Littlefield, Texas with Mel Hooten officiating. Burial will follow in Littlefield Memorial Park under the direction of Hammons Funeral Home of Littlefield. Mr. Penney passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at University Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born December 03, 1927 in Cook County, Texas. Mr. Penney served in the United States Air Force from 1946 thru 1949 and was stationed in Germany for part of that time.

He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by a son, Donnal Dewey Penney in 1990 and a sister, Helen Churchman in 1988.
