It was my pleasure to know and work with Mr. Reed. He was a joy to be around. He was a "Top Hat" type of guy, always a gentleman. Peace be with his family.

I had the pleasure of working for Cecil at the Department of Labor. He was allways a gentleman and strove to be a friend to everyone. My sympathies to his family.

Cecil was my direct supervisor for a number of years while we worked for the US Dept. of Labor. In a lifetime there are a few people that you never forget and who make a lasting impression, Cecil was one of those! I attended several functions where he was a guest speaker, he had the unique ability to impart his thoughts and feelings to the audience, large and small. My prayers and condolences to Cecil's family.

Cecil Reed was my boss, my mentor, a dear friend. I sought his advice not only on matters related to the Department of Labor but on personal matters as well. He lived his faith, a great example for all of us who knew him and and had the privilege of having him as a supervisor. He is at peace with his Lord. May God be with you and the family in the days to come.

Please accept my sympathy. Cecil was one of the really "good guys" one could ever know. Working with him at ETA was always a pleasant experience.
