Not sure what to say?

Hard to accept that it has been a year since Cecil departed this world to move into the next phase of life. It seems like only yesterday that I saw and chatted with him in our local supermarket as we remembered our days at Hampton. To his wife, sons and grandchildren may God continue to keep his loving arms wrapped around you and guide you. Peace be with you always.

One of the brothers holding the light higher so the rest of us could see where we're going. Prayers to the wife, sons and grand-kids that now must seek a path forward without him. Gonna miss you.

I’ll miss that wonderful welcoming smile!
I will always cherish the happy memories with you, Joanne and the gang at the big house. Rest in peace dear friend.

From the time that I first met Cecil going back to the days when we were both students at Hampton Institute (University) in the mid `60's, it was clear that here was a man of integrity and promise. Cecil you will be missed. You were always a true gentleman and an outstanding Guardsman.

Sheila and I send our blessings to you and your family, we shared some memories that will never be loss, we pray that God will continue to keep you with his strength and continue to be blessed with his love

However, and more importantly, he was an outstanding student as he graduated with Honors from the School of Architecture. He was in my estimation, a good man and a great guy who after leaving Hampton built a wonderful life with Joann, while also enjoying success as President of his...
