Not sure what to say?

When I was little, his deep, booming voice frightened me. I would cry and run away, which I know broke his hear. As I got older, that voice became comforting and reassuring. Pops always had so much love in his heart, and his relationship with Granny Peggy was inspirational. I like to imagine them together now. I love them both dearly and miss them every day.

Emma and I with our Pops

I must say I have been blessed with the most wonderful grandparents. Pops was was a big strong man with a deep voice that let you know everything was alright and that he would be here for you always. The love between my Pops and Granny Peggy was something that everyone should strive for. It was everlasting and true. I will always miss them and always be thankful for enhancing my life with their kind words and unconditional love. I truly have the most wonderful family and they will live long...

Cecil was my companion in the work place for many years and was always a trusted person and a true gentleman. Peggy and Cecil traveled with us, stayed with us and always our very good friends. We are sad that they are gone and they will be missed. They knew the true meaning of life.

Cecil and Peggy both showed us how to live life and enjoy what should be important to each of us - family and friends -- not material things. They did not forget their
family and friends when their family and friends needed
help. It was a phone call, flowers, and visits. Kind words.
Cecil and Peggy both showed us how to die with DIGNITY and GRACE.

Cecil and Peggy both knew and believed that prayers help
each of us get through life. Say a prayer for Cecil and...

My deepest condolences in the loss of your dad. Think about you guys often and the good ol' days at Eastland Street. Praying for your family, that you will find the strength and faith necessary to get through this difficult time! Love, Robin Samrow (Clark)

YOU ARE IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. SKIP,JENNY AND CAYLEN ( ACTON, TEXAS)

My thoughts and prayers are with this family. It's been one peaceful journey may you remember all the precious memories you had and will continue to have. Cecil you will be missed dearly but never forgotten. May you rest in peace but always look down on each one of us and guide us in the right direction.

Cecil and Peggy bought our house on Glen Garden Drive in 1967. We always were so happy that a family like them lived there. They were such wonderful people.

My Daddy always said, "Stay warm, stay dry, Be Careful, I love you, Take it easy, Darlin"
