Manning-Heffern-O’Neill Funeral Home - Pawtucket Obituary

Cecile A. Tetreault, 94, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side, Tuesday, September 27, 2016. She was the wife of the late Paul O. Tetreault. Born in Canada, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Mariane (Crevier) Salois. Cecile lived most of her life in Pawtucket. She was one of eleven children and was proud of the fact that she was the last child born in Canada. She was a creative woman of many talents, including sewing, crocheting, baking and knitting. One of her attributes her family will miss the most is her keen wit. She is survived by her children, Paul Tetreault, Rachel Pailthorpe and her husband Joseph, Janine LeClair and her husband Ronald with whom she lived, and Robert Tetreault, her grandchildren, Michael, Richard, Denise and Diane Tetreault, Karen Pailthorpe, Kimberly Grenier, Linda Sousa, Ronald Jr. and Jeff LeClair, Beth Gaucher, and Craig Tetreault, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; her brother, Hormidas Salois, her sisters, Marguerite Fregeolle, Therese Vincent, Claire Plante, and Lillian Lemieux. She was the sister of the late David, Joseph, and Irenee Salois, Marie Miles, and Gertrude Bouvier. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10AM in Saint Cecilia Church of Pope John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours Sunday from 3-6PM in the Costigan-O’Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI, 02904, https://hhcri25682.thankyou4caring.org, would be appreciated.
