Sr. Cecilia Nagel CS

Sister Cecilia was my very favorite teacher many years ago at St. John School in Lorain. My friend from Texas, who was also a former student of hers and I visited her in the nursing home last summer. I am happy that I got to see her again. I remember walking with her to the bus stop to meet her mother who was coming to visit her from Texas many, many years ago. May she rest in peace with the Lord.

Sr. Cecilia was the daughter of my grandmother's cousin (Jerome). She and I only got to speak a few times -- but I cherish the times that we did. She was so fun to talk with and I'm sad I had not gotten in touch with her more recently. A reminder to us all - not to put off our communications. RIP Sister -- I know you are with the Lord.

May this woman of Faith who served the people of God with fidelity and grace be warmly welcomed home into the loving embrace of the God whose grace empowered her to be such a loving and efficacious presence to all those she lovingly served.
