Family-Placed Death Notice
WILSON, Cecilia Mrs. Cecilia Ann Wilson, age 61, of McDonough passed away July 22, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Sweetwater, TX to Reba Davies and the late Cecil B. Hamil and was preceded in death by her daughter, Cherise Elaine Wilson. Cecilia retired after 34 years with the Atlanta Hilton Towers Hotel. She was a member of the Pinecrest Baptist Church and enjoyed playing cards. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, William W. Wilson of McDonough; son, William D. (Janie) Wilson of McDonough; grandchildren, William B. Wilson and Baeleigh Wilson; siblings, Shirley Blackwell of Villa Rica, Anita Taylor of Newnan, Cecil B. Hamil, Jr. of McDonough; mother, Reba Clayton of Jackson; brothers in law and sisters in law, Ronnie (Leah) Wilson of McDonough, Charles (Judy) Wood of Temple, niece, Alicia Wilson of New York. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 25, 2008 at 11:00AM from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Pastor Roy Mack will officiate. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice in memory of Mrs. Wilson.
