Not sure what to say?

I was a student of his when he taught high school English in New Orleans. He was a beloved teacher.

Abundant Blessings to the family of Cedric Hinson. I came to know this amazing Brother, leader, mentor, in Los Angeles. We all lived on an AMAZING street (20th St.), where he took precious time to share with me, in particular what, THE LIVING GOD presence DOES. This is then a home-going, YOU LIVE in my commitment to promoting your example in my life.
Thank You Brother

Gentle Kindness meeting us where we are. Forever out stretched hand's. He lives on, and on, in his children and family. The memories that I have of Cedric, will be the wind in my sails, for my tomorrow's. I just loved him! Thank You Cedric! I will have Gratitude all my days for knowing you. You will remain unforgettable. Love.

Pastor Hinson, Cedric, Ceddy---my friend, brother and Pastor. There was no one like him. I'm so blessed to have called him friend. 24 years, 4 months and 25 days ago, Pastor Hinson performed his first wedding. Steve and I are so grateful to him for how special our wedding was. God was there. When we were floundering Ceddy simply said 'But, God...' I will miss this most amazing man all the days of my life and call myself blessed to have known him. I look at birds fly and I think of how...

I served with Cedric over seas. I never knew a more gentle soul. His intelligence, kindness and composure made him the best of companions. I never was very military, but I will save my last salute for him.

To a dear and classy friend that my family use to visit as a child. His mother and grandmother maintained a home that resulted in Cedric becoming the person that he was.May all the memories be a blessing to those he leaves behind.

"Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord ... that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them."
- Jesus

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

In Remembrance of Cedric Hinson:

Cedric was one of my best friends when we were students at Parker High School. He was such a progressive thinker, which was very unusual for those times in the deep south. He knew about jazz, fine foods and etiquette. He thought about the issues of the day. We would have long philosophical discussions while listening to Brubeck or some other jazz great whose albums he collected. We stayed in some kind of contact over the years, and I was pleased to...
