Not sure what to say?

Who could ever forget our Cedric... that constant smile, his conversations ( he knew everything), his humor, his love of friends and family. Rest in piece Cedric. Sylvia and the boys!!!!

To Jean and Natalie .... Cedric´s smile and winning personality will forever be in my memory.... Sylvia B.

Cedric was like a son., a first Nephew. Beautiful smile... warm personality.... Inspired confidence in and was a role model to my sons. Love you Cedric... stay close to your Dad and Mr. B.

Thinking of you today as my son is preparing to graduate high school. Wish you were here to give him that great advise you are known to give so many of our students and me.

I am missing you like crazy. I will never forget our long talks about education. The most important memory is about those CowGirls in Dallas TX against New Your Giants. R.i.P until we meet again my friend. I think about you every day Cedric. The men/boys club is not the same. I am missing your mens event on Friday nights. Its empty and sad you are not around. Love always Barbara Anne Daniels

You helped me so much on my journey to being successful. Thank you Cedric Merritt for helping me in every way that you could. From kind words to strong advice. You helped me to become a Terry Scholar and graduate from UT Dallas. Thank you again and a million times again. You are missed. Until I see you again in heaven. God has plans for you for sure.

RIP Cedric. I remember in 1st and 2nd grade, the kids used to make fun of us saying we would get married and have "Oreo" children. Though they meant to embarrass us, I remember we totally owned it! I was so proud, you were my friend and I felt that so deeply. Not only did you teach me about friendship, you also taught me about dignity. Although we grew apart, your life made an indelible mark on the person I became. I wish I could have told you how much you mean to me, to say thank you. I...

RIP Cedric. Thank you for trying to help me out with my career goals as well as looking out for me. My mom and I are glad to have met you and to have been your friend.

Cedric's Family - I am saddened by the news and my heart goes out to you.
