i spent this week deeply depressed and missing you so much i could NOT drag myself out of bed to come visit you here. my eyes had been swollen tight from crying..why is it that i miss you more now than when you left us. i thought time was suppose to make my being without your love and laughter easier to bear,but each passing day seems like a year. I'm so still in love with you. Your brother is leaving for Florida tomorrow, I TALKED TO HIM ON YOUR BIRTHDAY, I KNOW STEVIE AND WAVEN are missing you also. I love you so very much.

Hello Baby Dear, I had a wonderful weekend with ,Joan&Lynne. Their visiting was grand for my soul and heart. We all [family and friends] miss you and love you so very much. I ordered 3 new pairs of eyeglasses today;regular,reading and Rx.sun.....Waven is supposed to have her cataract surgery at noon back in Palm Springs. Watch over her my darling. Hi Honey,
Guess who is coming to visit this week? The Waven and Ling. I can't wait to see them,they are in P'town right now,but will be arriving next weekend,and staying for 3 days before going home to Palm Springs. Today is Marty & Shelly's 17th Anniversary. Imagine,17 yrs,. It seems as though we were attending their wedding just Yesterday! Calvin & Clara started back to school this wk.,4th &5th grade already. I miss you so very much my darling! Your brother has all 18 grandchildren visiting this month. He & Ginny plan on coming to Boston later this month and we plan on getting together,and, going for lobsters @ "Woodman's". Stevie says Ginny really wants to move back to Boston,again,I think they might be going to look at houses in Newton. I guess if we had eighteen grandchildren visiting I would want to leave Minn. too!

i don't write or visit you here as often,because, i have got into the restful habit of talking to you each night. I love sharing with you what my day has been like,what I have been reading,doing,watching or talking about. I FEEL YOU ARE SO CLOSE....I only wish you could/would visit me. The family talks about you all the time....seems you may have been to see Neece? I've been told that by her. You made her feel sooo good,heard how you held hands and sat with your backs to back,just like you two would do on the living room rug. You told her that it's beautiful,calm,and your peaceful there and That you feel soooo good! THAT made me happy to hear,..HOPE you'll come visit me soon. I love you my darling wife. YOUR bro and i talk about once a week H e usually calls me on a Friday or i'll give him a buzz if i didn't hear from him. He and Ginny are planning a trip to Mass.,soon and we all plan on getting together and going out to "WOODMAN,S" over in Ipswich for Clams and Lobsters. Your niece Melissa was called and inducted into the Hollywood Academys directors club or Hall of Fame or something like that. Stevie says it's a pretty big deal-not everyone who wins an academy -"ONLY THE CREAM of THE CROP"-get asked or invited. GOOD on HER!!! Stevie is so proud. Darling,Loving you was easy,I do it every day,Missing you is a heartache,That will never go away. No farewell words were ever spoken,I was in the hospital and there wasn't any time to say goodbye! Sweetheart,you were gone before we knew it and only God can tell us why.We've had our first nice warm day,the temperature reached 78 degrees and memories of you out sunning yourself with those awful silver sun reflectors came flooding back! Wish you were here today,wish you were here everyday!
