Your dear Celeste has been in my thoughts these past couple of weeks. Now I know why. She was one of the first members of JASNA Alabama. Every June for many years starting in the late 1990s, she hosted a JASNA Alabama luncheon meeting at Monnish Drive. It was, of course, perfect in every way and began with an informal tour of her incomparable gardens. With her daughters, Celeste also organized some of the December Jane Austen's Birthday luncheon meetings at the Birmingham Country Club....
