Not sure what to say?

Many times Ceil comes to mind over the years. Her presence in my life was very significant, gifting me with her time and sharing life as a true friend. Nikki I'm grateful for your update, I've been lost for so long. You were her dearest friend, I'm grateful she had you. I'm shocked about Alice passing, and Skip's illness. Jenni he's been so lucky to have had your dedicated love. I'm glad for that. So much pain in living, such gifts of love are a saving grace. My sincerest warmth to each one...

So much has happened since you transitioned. I want to believe you already know that. Alice is now with you, your mom and dad. Was that a joyful reunion? Skip is struggling with dementia, I read Jenni's posts and pray he will soon join you. I miss you mi amiga and pray we will meet again.

Now that the flood of memories has come to me and i've written, a trickle of the most embedded parts of Ceil in me have surfaced. Incense.....I will light it in your honor remembering the many times it wafted through our home. Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young......a friend I've known since jr. high sent me a C,S,N,&Y song just a couple days ago. When I hear them I travel back to all the times Ceil and I enjoyed their music, all the years we shared a home. Her kitchen table...big, heavy, brown...

Ceil has been visiting me in spirit alot lately, she has carried me through many challenging situations. Memories of her examples on how to live life come to my mind frequently. Many times my mind and heart go back to our moments together through the years. I had no idea how precious her friendship was to me until she was gone. Ceil spent more time with me, willingly giving of herself, her company, her words, than any other human I have ever known. Ceil was generous to me, insisted on...

Missing your company and Love especially...I'm still doing what we never expected, trying to be a great step grandfather to 2 wonderful grand daughters, now 7 and 17. So I appreciate your love and support from your direction.....I miss the wonderful funny sence of sly humor we shared as well a spirituality..... MY Sincere LOVE to YOU..Your Brother. Skip

Hello darkness my old friend....

Mike and I were lucky to enjoy her friendship... she'll always be in our hearts...

Danny Casper, I realized last night my card to Ceil's family was without your name. I don't know why, I just didn't think of it. I'm very sorry. Sincerely, Kris

"A friend who is far away is sometimes much nearer than one who is at hand. Is not the mountain far more awe-inspiring and more clearly visible to one passing through the valley than to those who inhabit the mountain?"-Kahil Gibran

My dearest friend, you have left a legacy much richer than you could have imagined. Your art, your writings, your advocacy for people with disabilities and the homeless, your famous sayings like "let's filet the fish" and most of all your generous, loving...

Thank you, Ceil. for all the things I learned from you and through our mutual friend Jean Lindmark. Your quiet humor and creativity was precious and will be greatly missed.
Shalom brave friend.
