FAYETTEVILLE - Our dear beautiful Celia passed from this world on Sunday night, March 29, 2009, at 24 years old. She is the beloved daughter of Colleen Kelly-McCarthy and John McCarthy of Fayetteville, and Dr. Timothy J. and Loree Kelly of Hendersonville; the sister of Timothy A. Kelly of Fayetteville; the granddaughter of David Connor and Terri Dixon and Daniel and Josephine Kelly. She came into this world early at 2 pounds 10 ounces, but was strong and willful and grew to be a lovely young woman. Her spirit and inner fire were barely contained by her small frame. She found joy in her studies in cosmetology, successfully completed her exams and was preparing for a career here in Fayetteville. She struggled with life but never gave up on her hope for a life of peace and love. Her family and friends find some comfort knowing she has finally found that peace in His arms. She will be missed and held in the hearts of all who had the grace to know her. Funeral services will be conducted at 3p.m. Friday, April 3, 2009, in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. A viewing will be from 7 to 9 tonight, April 2, 2009, at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to [email protected]. Services entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.

Not sure what to say?

Colleen, I don't know if you are the same Colleen from Baumholder but if so I've been trying to find you forever. My heart is heavy thinking not our teeny Celia. I'm so sorry if this is little Celia. I've never forgotten you guys.

I will miss you forever. I love you.

I met Celia once. She had the most beautiful smile and one of nicest people you could meet. I can not believe that she has been gone for 3 years today. I believe that shes an angel in heaven looking down watching over her friends and family.

You are always in my heart, my love for you helped keep me whole while you were alive, it still fills me with grace even though you are gone.

Every day when I go to the cemetary the thought of what a great loss you are to me fills my entire being. Your heart was pure and your future so bright. You will shine on in my heart forever. I love you xxoo
