Dear Karen and family, I just wanted you to know that it was a pleasure being Daniels hospice nurse and taking care of him during these past difficult weeks. I am very glad to have known Daniel. Though my encounters with him were brief, I am confident that I will know him eternally because of the association I have, and will continute have, with his good family.

I have many memories of Karen and Daniel. Their romance and marriage, and then all of their wonderful experiences in Uruguay, and ending with them moving back to Utah so that we could know their boys.
Daniel was a charming, friendly person and I'm glad to have known him. He lived a great life and left a great legacy.
I'm happy to have known him, and to be related to him, and also to my cousin, Karen, and all their family.
May the Lord comfort you in your time of...

Dear Carbajal family-
I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Daniel for a while with disabled adults. I was always impressed with his kindness, enthusiasm, and amazing creativity. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May you find peace knowing that he has found peace as well.
