Not sure what to say?

Great guy! I will miss his friendship and wisdom. One day I called him 'Wayback' after a softball flew over his head while he was yelling 'wayback' to himself in left field. He preceded to call me 'Wayback' for the next thirty years. We shared a birthday too. From now on I will take a shot of wiskey every June 15th for him. RIP

May you rest in peace with the Lord

Chad never forgot to put people first. He considered the human element in any situation. I learned so much, working with Chad. Oh my goodness , he loved his kids. He would always light up when he mentioned some game or an achievement of theirs.
My deepest sympathy to his family. I hope we all can learn a lesson of kindness from Chad and pay it forward.

My condolences to the family during this time. I had the privileged working with Chad for many years at the City of Sacramento. He was always smiling and positive. I know he loved his family and kids, he often bragged and shared pictures. He will be greatly missed.

Chad was one of the first people I met when I started with the City of Sacramento. Such a kind soul. My daughter has Epilepsy and he wanted to know all about it and wanted to help. He touched my heart that day and evey time I seen him he was the same sweet person. Sending love to the family, such a great person he was !!

Chad was a lot of things to a lot of people. The last time I saw him was Jan. 26, 2018. He smiled happily and told me he remembered what I taught him; to always give God all the glory. "And that's what I do all the time to people I meet." That made my heart smile.
May the whole Garber family have many happy memories of this man.

I new Chad for all 36 years. He played softball on my City teams and also my own evening teams. He will be missed.

i Loved Chad Garber. You could not find a better human being on this earth and we all know what a Great Carpenter he was, just like Jesus. I just learned that Chad passed and I am heartbroken. I will Love him forever. My deepest condolences to Jeff, Connor and Chris. He loved his boys and Granddaughter, Kayla. He also loved Jesus with all of his heart and he is with the Lord right now watching over all of us. Stay strong boys and know your Dad loved you with all of his heart and he is now...

So very sorry to hear of such a loss to our community. Chad was one of my favorite building inspectors to work with on more challenging sites. He was always so positive and thoughtful regardless of the situation. My deepest heartfelt condolences to his family and close friends.
