Dear Short Family,

Chad and I dated for about two years and he was my first love, and my high school sweet heart! Even though we were broken up, I have always wanted and hoped for nothing but the best for Chad. He was a great person and such a pleasure. He had such a warm heart and great sense of humor and was my best friend! I was in nothing but shock when I found out about the passing of Chad. My heart is forever broken, I hadn’t talked to him in a while, but I had been...

My heart is forever broken.

Dear Short Family, I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. I wrote this for Chad.

Chad,

Know that I am ever grateful for all of your support. When I felt like the world was falling apart around me, you were a rock. You tried so hard to help me. I wish I had not left. I wish I could have done something. You were and in a way still are, one of the most upfront, honest, genuine, loving, downright hilarious and uplifting friends I have ever had.

The night you left...

Dear Short Family, Our Son Micheal with Ryan were close pals at St.Joes school. We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Micheal is beside himself. We will keep your family close to our hearts and prayers Sincerely The Gunarson Family

Dear Short Family,
I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I worked at Catalina Foothills Church in the junior high an high school and was able to spend time with Chad when he would come. He would always put a smile on our face. I pray that God may comfort you as you go through this time.

Dear Jeff and family:
We are saddened by the news of the passing of Chad. He was always a pleasure to have stop by the house and update us on his studies in high school. And, I am remembering the wrestling meets and the hours sitting in the bleachers watching and chatting, the team in their uniforms waiting for the matches, munching on snacks and cheering their teammates on. Chad had a positive effect on us with his bright smile and we will miss him dearly. My prayers are with you.

I was so sad to hear of Chad's passing. I remember him as a cute 2 year old with lots of energy when you were opening the restaurant that was named after him. I am sure that he touched many people in his short life. My prayers are with you all.

We are so sad to hear about Chad. We remember him from little league at Udall Park where he was always so happy and friendly. It was a blessing to know him. We would always remember him when we drive by the restaurant. WE will continually lift you up in our prayers throughout the years. Love in Christ
